Tudor Black Bay Burgundy

The Tudor Black Bay range of watches has got to be one of the most-loved collections of all time. Their designs are legible and easy to wear, they are extremely durable and well-made, and offer fantastic value for money.
 
This reference 79220R adds a burgundy bezel to the iconic dive watch. The 41mm steel case wears extremely well on the wrist and the mix of polished and brushed surfaces gives a luxury feel to a robust dive watch.
 
The black dial remains balanced and the matt black is highlighted with gilt. Generous lume-filled hands and indices allow for legibility in low light. And the iconic snowflake hour hand echoes Tudor watches from the past.
 
Perhaps my favourite feature is the “Smile Dial” – the curved “SELF-WINDING” indicating that the movement inside is a reliable ETA 2824. This ETA movement also allows the case to be a little slimmer than its successor with the in-house Tudor movement.
 
Fitted to the watch is a robust steel bracelet, and also supplied is an unworn Tudor fabric strap for an alternative look. This watch would also look great on a rubber or leather strap.  
 
This 2014 watch shows very little signs of wear, with the case back sticker still intact. The movement has been tested and found to be running well and as such, we are pleased to supply the watch with a 6-month warranty. Also supplied with the watch is its original box and paperwork.
