Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional "Hesalite"

There are few watches as well-loved as the Omega Speedmaster. It has been included in all six lunar missions and is an impressive representation of Omega's adventurous pioneering spirit.
 
This reference 311.30.42.30.01.005 is a modern-day interpretation of the early 1960s Moonwatches that NASA declared “flight-qualified for all manned space missions”.
 
The matt black dial has contrasting white hands which allow the wearer to easily read the time, alongside a small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder, 12-hour recorder and central chronograph hand. Framing the dial is a black bezel featuring a tachymetric scale.
 
The 42mm steel case has both brushed and polished finishes, highlighting its sleek edges. The closed case back shows an engraving of the Hippocampus, a mythological Greek seahorse that Omega have used since 1958. It also features a reference to the Speedmaster as the first watch worn on the moon.
 
Powering the watch is an Omega Calibre 1861 manual-wind movement. It’s a descendant of the movement worn on the moon and offers 48 hours of power reserve.
 
Fitted to the watch is a robust Omega steel bracelet and also supplied is an additional Omega black NATO strap and Omega black Velcro strap. It would also look great on any variety of leather straps.

The watch is in an excellent pre-owned condition and is presented in an impressive Omega case, complete with a loupe, spring bar tool and Speedmaster medallion. Also supplied is a warranty card and pictograms card in a card holder, and an instruction booklet, a Speedmaster booklet, bracelet booklet, swing tag, and a six-month warranty from Watch Concierge Services.
