Kurono Tokyo Anniversary Toki

In an aim to create a dial colour that was different from the usual salmon, Kurono creator Hajime Asaoka-sensei, was inspired by the Japanese crested ibis. Its feathers can be described as the shade of the rising sun and the result is a dial in a metallic coral colour with a delicate sunburst finish that dances in the light. The centre of the dial remains relatively uncluttered to fully appreciate the colour and an outer minute track allows for easy reading of the time, highlighted by steel applied indices and sleek hands.
 
Not distracting from the dial, the 37mm steel case is relatively modest with a smooth bezel and curved lugs.
 
Underneath an engraved case back, the watch is powered by a Japanese-made premium-grade Miyota 90S5 automatic movement.
The watch is paired with a simple black leather strap but would also suit any number of straps which would complement the allure of the dial.
