Christopher Ward C1 Bel Canto Rosa

British watch brand, Christopher Ward, are known to produce easy-to-wear, everyday watches at an appealing price point. However, the Bel Canto is a result of three years of intensive development, creating their most advanced wristwatch yet. And still at a price point for the everyday watch enthusiast.
 
Within a 41mm Grade 5 titanium case and under a domed sapphire crystal, the watch displays an impressive chiming mechanism, designed to resemble a songbird. On the hour, a hammer strikes a polished steel spring to produce the charming sound. Or, for those needing a moment of silence, there is the option to switch off the complication with a pusher at 4 o’clock.
 
The time is displayed on a floating subdial, above a rose-coloured dial. The combination of the dial’s soft tone and sunburst finish compliment the complexity of components.
 
The lightweight titanium case wears well on the wrist, and a titanium bracelet with a micro-adjustable clasp means that the fitting is always comfortable. The watch is also supplied with a black leather strap for an alternative look.
 
The case back features a sound-wave motif and underneath houses a Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement on which the chiming module has been mounted.
