Cartier Ceinture
We are excited to bring to the market this charming Cartier Ceinture, presented in an excellent condition.
The Ceinture retains that classic Cartier aesthetic yet offers something a little different from the Tank and Santos. The model was originally released in 1927 and then re-released in 1973.
The name Ceinture comes from the French word for belt and references the watch’s belt buckle shaped case with its cut corners. The stepped bezel houses an enclosed octagonal crown, unusual for Cartier where we usually find a prominent crown set with a sapphire cabochon.
The white dial has that iconic Cartier design with it’s Roman numerals and blued steel hands. This watch may only be 27mm, yet it has a real presence on the wrist.
We are excited to present this special piece in an excellent vintage condition with light wear to the case and very little wear to the case back. The dial is showing signs of wear consistent with its age. The quartz movement is running well and as such the watch is supplied with a 6-month warranty.
The watch is paired with a Cartier-style black leather strap and pin buckle, yet would look good on any variety of straps. Get in touch to find out more.
