This A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Thin gives an interesting spin on a classic dress watch.
 
As the name might suggest, the case measures a slim 6.2mm in height, and with a diameter of 39mm, is suitable for any wrist size.
 
However, it’s that striking blue goldstone dial that sets this watch apart, creating the effect of a starry night sky – it really is quite mesmerising.
The expansive dial features elegant indices and hands, and the lack of a seconds hand allows the wearer to fully appreciate the depth of the blue without any distractions.
 
Through an exhibition case back you can view the L093.1 movement, Lange’s thinnest calibre to date. Despite the simplicity of its features, the movement is made from German silver and exquisitely finished, highlighted with a beautiful hand-engraved balance cock.
 
The white gold case, given its sleek proportions, has a satisfying weight to it and is predominantly polished with a satin-brushed band around the centre. It comes paired with a dark blue alligator strap, fitted with a white gold pin buckle.
 
This watch feels very special, like a small piece has been lifted out of the night sky and captured in a white gold case, for you to enjoy every time you look at your wrist.
